Taylor Swift, in full Taylor Alison Swift (born December 13 1989 West Reading Pennsylvania U.S.) American pop and country music singer and songwriter, whose stories of heartbreak in the early years achieved wide success in the early 20th century. Swift had a passion for music since a young time. She swiftly rose through the ranks, starting as a child actor and then singing in front of a huge crowd. She was age 11 when she sang The Star-Spangled Banner before a Philadelphia 76ers basketball match and the following year she took up guitar and started writing songs. Swift was inspired by artists from the country genre, such as Shania Twain, the Dixie Chicks as well as the Chicks to come up with original songs that expressed the apathy she experienced by the age of 13. Swift relocated from Pennsylvania with her parents to Hendersonville, Tennessee when she turned 13 to devote more time to contacting country labels.
