Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn, an American actress. Her most famous role is Skyler White on her role on the AMC show Breaking Bad, for which she received the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 and in 2014 for Outstanding Supporting actress in an Drama Series. The actress has also appeared as Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock in Deadwood. Anna Gunn grew up in Sante Fe New Mexico and discovered her love for acting when she was in Preparatory School. At the end of the 70's, her family relocated to Ohio. She attended theatre classes at Northwestern University and spent a period studying at the British American Drama Academy. Anna worked in Chicago's theatre for a number of years before attempting TV and movie role. Anna's first major part was Arden on Down the Shore. She played in 29 episodes. After appearing as a Guest Star in several TV Shows and Films, including Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue during the 90's and was later given the role of Jean Ward as part of The Practice. In the mid 2000's she was placed in Deadwood playing Martha Bullock for two full seasons. Skyler was the character she played as Martha Bullock in Breaking Bad. In addition, she was a part of the Deadwood film and Sully. Gunn was on stage in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers. In addition, she played in the play Numbered Day. It is an audio-based podcast that consists of four audio plays. Breaking Bad is often centered on the relationships between Walter White with his wife Skyler. Their relationship is strained and eventual end resembles the end of Walter White's personal life.
